On the day the experts from Beijing arrived, President Gao was waiting for them at the entrance in person.
The audit proceeded as planned—the experts reviewed records, conducted spot checks on production processes, interviewed front-line employees, and traced the flow of each product batch. All we did was present the facts as they were. Upon reaching the vulcanization workshop, the expert paused, pointed to a piece of equipment, and asked the operator, “When was this machine last calibrated?” The colleague answered without hesitation, then pulled a calibration record card from beside their workstation and handed it over. The expert took it, glanced at it, and asked no further questions.
Later, she said one thing to General Manager Gao: “Your employees are very professional; this shows that these procedures have become second nature to them.”
