Many large-scale screens utilize a dual-motor drive system to generate the necessary force. 1. Positive Drive Mechanical Linkage

Unlike standard V-belts that rely on friction and are prone to slipping, a timing belt features a teethed profile that meshes perfectly with the grooves of the synchronous pulleys. This creates a "positive drive" connection, meaning the rotation of the two motors is mechanically locked. Even under the heavy load of stones and aggregate, the belts cannot slip, keeping the RPM of both motors identical.

2. Maintaining Phase Consistency

Vibrating screens often use eccentric weights on two different shafts to create circular or linear motion. For the screen to function efficiently, these weights must maintain a specific phase relationship (the exact angle of rotation).
