Recently, our company completed a highly challenging custom order: we successfully developed and manufactured a batch of gold panning conveyor belts with a width of 3.4 meters for our African clients.

 

 

An “Out-of-the-Box” Order

“3.4 meters wide? Can you really do that?”

 He is the manager of a mineral processing plant currently screening 4mm placer gold. His equipment is 2.6 meters wide, so logically, he would need at least two or even three conveyor belts running side by side to cover the entire width. However, doing so would mean skyrocketing equipment modification costs, double the potential points of failure, and a massive increase in maintenance workload.

 

 

He wanted a better solution: a single extra-wide gold panning conveyor belt that could span the entire width of his equipment in one go, enabling zoned conveying.

But the problem was—gold panning conveyor belts on the market typically only come in standard widths of 1.1 meters. 3.4 meters is nearly three times the standard size.

He asked several suppliers, and the answers were almost identical:

“It can’t be done.”

“The risk is too high.”

“There’s no precedent for this.”

Anti-drift, rock-solid stability

High-precision guide strips are installed on the back to ensure the 3.4-meter-wide gold-panning grass conveyor belt stays perfectly aligned during operation.

70% increase in ore recovery rate

We insist on using raw materials imported from Japan. The grass is highly resilient and does not shed strands, firmly retaining every grain of gold.

Today, this batch of 3.4-meter-wide gold-panning grass conveyor belts has completed all production and quality inspection processes and is about to be shipped to our client’s site in Jiangxi.

We wouldn’t dare claim this is the widest belt in the industry, but we can confidently say:This is the one our customer needs.
