PTFE Coated Fiberglass / Kevlar Open Mesh Conveyor Belts combine the non-stick surface and heat resistance of polytetrafluoroethylene (also known as PTFE) with the strength and dimensional stability of fiberglass or kevlar . The product that results is ideal for the demands of industrial conveyor applications.
Dimensionally stabile from -100° to +500°F (-73° to 260°C), PTFE Coated Fiberglass / Kevlar Open Mesh Belts are non-toxic, odorless, tasteless, and Food Grade for use in food processing, packaging and handling. In addition, PTFE belts offer exceptional durability and extremely low elongation (<1%).
PTFE open mesh belting is ideally suited for conveying products within highly efficient air distribution systems allowing optimized moisture removal to take place and is commonly used within ultraviolet and infrared dryer units.
The open area allows maximum airflow optimising drying times whilst its extreme properties make it a natural choice for dryer manufactures.
